Wednesday 15 May from 4:30pm to 7:30pm
Australia is well placed to develop its own strong manufacturing and supply chain in net-zero or zero emissions transport and mobility.
With the electrification of the industry, we see a more sustainable transport sector developing. And finally a fuel efficiency standard in support has been introduced this year. But, where we may see new technologies and capabilities emerging, there are clear obstacles to a fast transformation with considerable investment and policy support required to build out the infrastructure and support the industry transition.
The role of government in cooperation with key industry players, as well as public and private sector investment to support local manufacturing and export, creating independance and future jobs, is required for success. This in parallel with legislation and support for global OEMs to bring their best technologies to our market as well.
Hear from Polestar about their global approach to net-zero 2030 commitments in mobility, and Australian OEMs including GoZero, Dovetail and Janus about their strategies and pathways to achieving common net-zero emission transport and mobility objectives.
