We are organising a fun and interactive hands-on workshop to teach children the art of paper weaving using everyday newspapers!

Through this workshop, children will have the opportunity to transform everyday newspapers into beautiful works of art. While also learning the fundamentals of paper weaving and the importance of recycling and reusing everyday items.

Children can foster their creativity and hone their fine motor skills in this library staff led workshop where we will provide all the materials and tools needed.

  • This activity is suitable for persons aged 8 years +

  • Parents or guardians must sign in for attendees 8-11 years, stay in the library for the duration of the activity and collect the attendees at the end of the session.

  • Places are limited, bookings are essential.
