Wednesdays weekly at 5:30-6:30pm OR 6:30-7:30pm. Classes take place during NSW School Term periods. There are 6 sessions per school term. Late enrolments will be considered.

No need to audition.

No need to be an SYO Member.

This course is suited to all high school music students aged 12-19 (Years 7-12), who would like to learn more about:

  • Musical notation

  • Chords and harmony

  • History of orchestral music

  • Score reading and analysis

  • Melodic and rhythmic dictation

  • Sight-singing
