Wednesday 3 April from 6pm to Thursday 4 April 3pm
We are a giving circle that funds specialist, local charities to dream big and transform the lives of people in need in our city. Each year, 100 individuals, families and businesses make a donation of at least $1,000 each, creating a major grant of $100,000.
Impact100 Sydney is kicking off again for its 8th consecutive year! We invite you to join us as we celebrate the launch of our new donor campaign. Come along to learn more about our mission to transform our community through collective giving, meet with like-minded people, and hear from our panel of leading experts as the tackle the social and economic challenges facing Sydney.
Sydney’s persistent issues are worse than ever, including housing affordability, rising homelessness, and the ever-rising cost of living. Racism and discrimination continue to be significant social problems in Australia, impacting individuals and communities from diverse cultural backgrounds. Suicide remains the leading cause of death among young Australians.
We've asked our experts to help us reimagine the Sydney we want to see and look at where the best philanthropic investments can be made to make Sydney more equitable.
Our panel will be facilitated by Sharon Levy, Partner at Bartier Perry and Founding Chair of The Haven – Nepean Women’s Shelter.
Our panellists include:
Dr Rhonda Itaoui, Director of the Centre for Western Sydney at the University of Western Sydney.
Lucinda Brogden AM, Chair, Diabetes Australia Research Program; Director, Australian Unity Limited; Director, Be Kind Sydney; Director, Corporate Mental Health Alliance Australia; Director, National Film and Sound Archive; and Founder & Patron, Sydney Women’s Fund.
Matt Levinson, Head of Corporate Affairs, Cultural Policy Lead, Committee for Sydney.
Join us for an engaging conversation. Together, we can make a difference and create a positive change.
Tickets are $20 each with all tickets sales supporting Impact100 Sydney.
