Treat Mum to a special Mother's Day experience at Barangaroo Reserve!

Damulay Ngurang, meaning "friendship place" in the Sydney Aboriginal language, celebrates mothers, parents, aunties, sisters and caregivers with a fun-filled morning of connection and appreciation.

Check out the schedule:

  • 9am – 9.15: Welcome to Country 

  • 9.15am: Workshops commence (Native flora crown making, weaving, jewellery making & face painting)

  • 9.30am – 9.50am & 11.30am – 11.50am: Buuja Buuja Butterfly Dance Group performance & workshop

  • 10am – 10.20am & 11am – 11.20am: Interactive talk with Hello Dingo

  • 10.30am – 10.50am & 12.30pm – 12.45pm: Torres Strait Dancers from Buuja Buuja Butterfly Group performance & workshop

  • 12pm – 12.20pm: Storytelling session and walk with Hello Dingo 

  • 12.50pm – 1pm: Water Cleansing Closing & Farewell from Country Ceremony. Performed by Buuja Buuja Butterfly Dance Group
