Thursday 16 May from 11:15am to 12:15pm
Soon, the transport system and the energy grid will be combined in ways we couldn’t have imagined 10 years ago. Parked EVs will be ‘solar soakers’ – storage systems for renewable energy that will support the grid.
Australia is placed at the leading edge of this global innovation, thanks to our strong consumer energy resources, energy innovation and world-record proportion of rooftop solar. This session brings this future alive, investigating what it will mean for motorists, electricity consumers, for the grid and for climate targets.
